Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will host the October 8 broadcast of NBC’s Saturday Night Live.

Miranda, who will be making his SNL hosting debut, recently finished his Broadway run in Hamilton. He will also star in the forthcoming sequel to Mary Poppins, which is entitled Mary Poppins Returns. Miranda is currently in Chicago, where his Broadway hit Hamilton began performances September 27 at the The PrivateBank Theatre.

The creative team of Disney’s next Broadway musical, Frozen got 2 new collaborators in award-winning director Michael Grandage and scenic designer Christopher Oram. Disney confirmed the news September 27.

Disney also revealed that Frozen will arrive at Broadway’s St. James Theatre in spring 2018 after a previews run in Denver Colorado. The back wall of the theatre is being expanded in order to house the technically advanced production. The theatre’s current resident, Something Rotten!, will play its final performance January 1, 2017.

Fans are already looking forward to the show’s opening.
